Robert Anderson drowned in an accident on 1st November, 1915, while serving with the 22nd London battalion which went to France in March, 1915 where it became part of 142 Brigade, 47th Division but there is no further information concerning his death. That he is buried in a cemetery in London suggests that he was not in France with the battalion. |
